#20 Shield Knight FlyFF

Hey people! I've come to notice that this game... Isn't the hardest to get good equipment in, it's relatively easy to level and doesn't take too much time.
I've found a fun and effective way of owning with a knight, without amazing/godly equips.
I'm sure I'm not the first one to use this, as I've seen others around doing it, but what it's called is a Shield Knight.
As the name states, a Shield Knightuses a shield, an axe/sword, and tears everything apart.

However, to make a good shield knight, you can't just experiment with stats and hope for the best and expect to be good, fast.
What you need to do is have a good Strength to Dexterity ratio, Stamina is not necessarily needed when making a Shield Knight due to the level 105 Equipment traits.
Now, to achieve this Strength to Dexterity ratio, you will need to follow the guidelines below:

Dexterity : 100 (With Buffs)
Stamina : 80 (With Buffs)
Strength: XXX

As you can see, the Stats listed are in order, this is for reason.
Due to the insane leveling rate on this server, you will achieve most of the stats you need for Dexterity in one giggle box.
I know I said that you don't really need stamina, but to go for the Darkon mobs you'll need a little bit, it will probably not be as fast as it was for your Dexterity but you'll have it soon enough.
For those who do not know, 'XXX' Is pure, as in, every level up, put in 2 or 3 more strength points, you don't put it into anything else.
Do not put strength before Dexterity or Stamina, for it is not needed at the lower levels.
You should have the Dexterity and Stamina around Level 70, at that point, always put your points you get from leveling up into strength.

To have a decent Shield Knight, you need to have some decent equipment, no?
Until level 60, just use the level 13 axe or sword and the +8 vagrant set given when you join, you want to save your money for a good shield and a good weapon, not necessarily armour if you're short on cash, but if you have the money, go for it.
You'll want to aim for the Bloody Sword or the Legendary Golden Axe for the good hits, they're both available for cheap prices down at Boboku The Trader in Flaris.
The level requirement for the Bloody Sword is 120 (Without Reductions) and the level requirement for the Legendary Golden Axe is 105 (Also without reductions)
So don't expect to be able to equip it straight away when you turn level 70, or 80, or whatever level you are.
Once you have the LGA/B-Sword, you're set for weapons for a long time, if you wish, upgrade them, but not before getting a good shield.
Now, on the subject of shields, there are many shields that'll do a good job,
I always tried to get a Toeffin shield because it's big and looks awesome, but It's rather rare, and may cost you quite an expense. So until you can afford that price, use the level 58 shield or 55 shield until you are level 105, which is when you can buy a good set of armour, and possibly a good shield if you farm well enough

Now, to make up for the lack of health, you need to get a good knight set, I recommend the Knightert set, get that to +10 and you'll be unstoppable!
But, to get items to +10, you need money, and money is obtainable by three options (the main 3)

1. Farming, this tactic involves killing Yettis/Cyclops over and over and farming in the penya/drops that could be of value.

2. Donating, this tactic is EXTREMELY fast and will get you a LOT of penya, although in return for it, you must donate an amount of money to the server.
In return for this, you get DP(I think) and then ask players what they want, tell them how much it is, if they agree, you go and spend the DP's or DP on that and sell it to them in game.
You can use it for getting reversions, and 1 reversion = 4b, so if you're looking for money fast and a lot of it, this is a good tactic.

3. Awakening, this tactic involves awaking a lot of shields, and waiting to get a good one, for example: +550MP would get you ... I think 5-10b? I'm not completely sure on that, you'll have to check the price check section.

Now these 3 tactics (Unless you do donating) will not get you a lot of money immediately, farming is boring, and so is awakening, but if you want to be the best shield knight, it pays off.

I will update this guide with pictures, screenshots and Wikipedia samples after I get home today, I've written this and I'm soon to head off out, so enjoy being a shield knight, and if you like, post a screen shot of yours after using these tactics for a week! :D
